My love of fragrances and their beautiful aroma is why this book came to be.

In the beginning, I searched high and low about fragrances. I searched in books and on the internet, yet I could not find the answers to most of my questions. Likewise, many of the courses I took contained misleading or incomplete information. The world of fragrances is a sea of hidden secrets.

I delved into books old and new. At times I read about the world of organic chemistry or physical chemistry. At others, I read about organic substances and their therapeutic properties, from oils to natural extracts, until I decided to attend specialized international courses that tied theory to practice.

Through trial and error, training, and long hours of reading and research, I accumulated a wealth of knowledge. I authored this book for fragrance enthusiasts to guide and impart some of my knowledge.

I had hoped to pen a thousand pages to share all I know. However, I resigned myself to include the essential topics that novice designers need as they start their journey and take their first bold steps into the world of fragrances.

A Fragrance is one of the most important aspects of beauty and elegance. It expresses character and charm, adding a dash of freshness, beauty, and class. It's an integral part of a person's character and not a mere accessory.
