Lead in for fossil unit in second grade

This is one of the books I will use to read aloud for a unit on fossils for second graders. It has clear and relevant illustrations and photographs with the corresponding text on the opposite page. The book also contains a table of contents, glossary, and index. Many children be motivated to read and reread an excellent non-fiction book like "Fossils". This is one of those children's books that also teaches adults.
