realistic emotions

I enjoyed this book very much, as I have enjoyed every book by Rita Herron that I've read. Her heroine is REAL--she experiences the full range of emotions that all women feel--sadness, happiness, fear, sorrow, etc. She's brave, but she's also afraid at times--and I don't think that expressing fear makes someone wimpy. It makes them real and honest and someone I can relate to. I very much look forward to Ms. Herron's next book.

Rita Herron fans won't be disappointed with this one!

Straying a bit from the detective/cop hero, Ms. Herron does a delightful job of turning an ordinary husband and father into a sleuth out to save his wife's life.Ms. Herron also tells an emotional tale of falling in love all over again with the same person. Her wonderful storytelling ability will not disappoint her many fans--this one included.

Rita Herron is a consummate professional writer. She puts her heart and soul into her projects and uses her prolific talents to entertain readers over and over again. Anyone who likes a well-written, suspenseful romance will love this book. I fell in love with the hero right away, and the heroine was a perfect match for him. I just couldn't put the book down until the very end. Can't wait for Ms. Herron's next book!
