#3 OF THE SAGA OF THE FALCON BROTHERS - BRACK

What a top-notch suspense plot. Who or what is murdering the falcons? They are not easy birds to catch. Brack Falcon is part of the Falcon P.I. agency and deeply connected to the birds of prey. He is jogging through the woods in a heavy snow storm when he comes upon a woman with her back ripped and shredded by the talons of a bird of prey. Sonya Silverstein has just moved to Tin City with her four year old handicapped daughter, Katie. In the middle of a snow storm she finds her daughter gone from the farmhouse she had just purchased. Yup! out into the storms she charges. In buying the old farmhouse she has caught the attention of some maniac serial killer who has decided she belongs to him. In rescueing Sonya, Brack is suddenly involved with solving the murders. He askes for the help of his brothers, Rex and Deke - Rex needs to keep close to home as his wife, Hailey is expecting any moment. But he is more than willing to help. Boy, do we end up with a list of suspects on Sonya's attack. There is the Dr. Aaron Waverman who wants Sonya. Darrien Trip, a reporter for an occult magazine. Dr. Phil Priestly, the local veterinarian. Jameson Viago, the artist who draws the cartoon character, "The Talon Terror". Jerry Elmsworth, the veterinarian's assistant who Katie didn't like. Stan Silverstein, Sonya's ex who blames her for their daughters' physical handicap. And of course, we have Sheriff Cohen who railroaded Brack's father into prison twenty years ago. Is he trying to do the same thing to Brack? Wow! what a plot - and of course the two main characters denying their attractions and passions - a bit of PMS thrown in before the Talon killer can claim Sonya - several premeditated murders. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED -- PMS -- What a trilogy to keep.
