Great two books with a good plot and lots of action. Many times I stop reading a book because I can figure out what will happen. With Spy Mice I couldn't figure out what was going to happen, it kept me on a cliff hanger the whole time. The book kept me reading late into the night in my bed.

An Exciting Romp

The first two volumes of this delightful new series, Spy Mice (The Black Paw, For Your Paws Only) take the reader on an exciting romp with daring mice, intrepid children, and ferocious rats. The colorful bravado, language, and settings catapult the reader into a diminutive world simulating a James Bond thriller. The heroic mice take off from the Espionage Museum in Washington DC on their popsicle stick skateboards and airborne pigeons to underground sewers and to The Big Apple in order to annihilate evil and rout the rats. An engrossing and fun page-turning thriller for the whole family!

Fantastic adventure tale!

I read this in one sitting. It moves along at breakneck speed and is hilariously funny. I enjoyed all the characters and the writer has an amazingingly inventive imagination. This is a WINNER for kids 8 and up--and I liked it even more than the first SPY MICE (The Black Paw), which is saying a lot because that is terrific, too.

Engaging story to read with your kids

We have both Spy Mice books and I have thorougly enjoyed reading them together with my neice. Some wonderful qualities are displayed by the characters in the book, the story includes healthy relationships, and its a fun read.
