I’m embarrassed to have read this book

I’ll take one for the team and admit I read this book cover to cover hoping it would get better and it did NOT. The main character immediately starts off being very “I’m not like other girls” and yet she still falls for the boy they want ?? It’s extremely cringey writing as well as a horrible plot. I was hoping for a dressed up revenge story (I knew nothing about this book, it was a gift) and ooo man this was terrible.
