Each Page is a Gift!

Our entire family enjoyed reading this book front to back cover. The combination of stunning artwork and heartfelt poems deliver a real treat on every page for people of all ages. We have revisited several of the poems which evoke numerous emotions - hope, grief and loss, tenderness, joy, to name a few... It is clear that the author/artist lives her life to the fullest while carrying an awareness and love for others, and the treasures in life that bring us happiness. This unassuming, magnificently beautiful book will be the winning gift to give my friends this holiday season. For the painfully practical, it's a reminder, that we should all "Follow Our Hearts" more often.

A personal review

As the author's husband I have a particularly close view of the history of this book. Rochelle started writing poetry for our children and family. Poems that would capture a moment, a memory, a special event or visit. The poems became part of our family history as narration in photo albums, and gifts of creativity. Over time she developed notebooks of poems written and enhanced over years. Each poem brought smiles, tears, memories, and an incredible sense of Rochelle's talent as a writer. Rochelle's been an accomplished fine artist for many years, and this book brings together, for the first time, her visual art with her incredible writing. Drawing on her culturally diverse family, global travel, innate empathy, and incredible expression, the poetry is delightfully touching. We've watched as our friends have shared early versions of this book with their friends, and enjoyed reading it with their children. While I'm biased, I encourage you to keep a copy for yourself when you give this as a gift. You'll love the art, and it's a book you'll read over and over again for smiles, memories, and inspiration.

Great Book of Poems and Art

I thoroughly enjoyed the creatives works in the volume, both the poetry and the paintings. I was pleasantly entranced by Rochelle's works, and grew to really appreciate her simplicity of message: enjoy and appreciate the simple, good things in life, and follow your own heart in all you decide to do. I truly get the impression that the author herself lives her life in the manner of her artwork and poetry, and her works resonate for that reason. Read this book, it will do your heart good!
