Florida Granny and Santa's Sharing Sack
Florida Granny and Santa's Sharing Sack
Christmas in Florida has its own kind of magic. The sun is warm, the decorations sparkle, and Florida Granny has a special idea: it's time to help fill Santa's Sharing Sack
The children are excited to choose toys that might make another child smile. But when it's time to give away a favorite red truck, sharing suddenly feels much harder. Can something you love become an even more meaningful gift when you give it to someone else?
With Florida Granny beside them, the children discover that generosity is about more than putting a toy in a sack. It's about imagining the child who might open it. It's about making room for someone else's happiness, even when saying goodbye to a treasured thing takes courage.
Set against a colorful Florida Christmas, this story brings together family, a lovable dog, a visit from Santa, and a simple message children can carry well beyond the holidays. The cheerful illustrations make every page feel like a celebration, while the children's choice gives families something real to talk about after the story ends. ❤️
Florida Granny and Santa's Sharing Sack is a Christmas read-aloud for families who want to celebrate giving with their children. Read it before choosing a toy to donate, share it with a classroom during the holiday season, or make it part of a cozy December tradition with Grandma.
After reading, you might ask: "Is there something we could share that would make another child happy?" Sometimes that one conversation is where the magic begins. ✨
Because Santa's sack is filled with toys but the children who help fill it put kindness inside, too.
What's a favorite way your family gives back at Christmas? I'd love to hear your traditions in the comments
