Flight Nursing: Principles and Practice

I am a critical care paramedic student in Canada. We have to take an aerospace medicine cource during our first year of studies. This was the required text. It is a complete guide to providing ALS in the aeromedical environment. Not only does it cover topics exclusive to flight medicine, it is also a good reference for other areas of medicine. I use it constantly to look up facts for my other courses. The case studies are excellent. They deal with complex pathologies and treatments. The care is directed at a critical care level. My only complaint would have to be the dated appearance of the text. A little more color would help to make the text more pleasing to the eyes. However, the quality of the information does not suffer.
