A rip-roaring Western from the long running series starring Skye Fargo,The Trailsman. This episode finds Skye in the wilds of Montana in 1861. His encounter with a Grissly,just warms us up for some wild and exciting encounters with Flatheads and a bunch of Europeans from Tansia,wherever the heck that is supposed to be.Maybe Transylvania ;and you know who else came from there,that's right,Count Dracula. It seems there was something in the water because Duke Wolfrik appears to have similar genes in his background. This Duke is intent on transporting this European culture of aristocracy,his own private army,and all,to America. He has built his own castle and even has his own town where the townspeople are under his total control and in total submission and fear of this despot.He even attempts to turn the Flatfheads against the settlers with the hope of them exterminating one another. The old European game of divide and conquer,leaving the spoils all to himself. That is 'til Fargo arrives on the scene and senses something amiss. What follows is a fast-action story with great characters and just about everything one looks for in a splendid Western. "No!" Wolfrik wailed. Tearing the reptile off,he threw it aside and moved toward the hall,his legs wobbling. "Not like this!" he declared. "It can't end like this!" One of the best episodes in the series! Oh,and by yhe way,some great artwork on the cover.Super artwork that is descriptive of the stories is a hallmark of The Trailsman series. Thanks to the Artists and Publishers;these covers are really appreciated.

The wrong Book Description has been applied to Flathead Fury. Skye Fargo is up against Duke Wolfrik from Transia, who is trying to create a utopia in Montana. He creates his own town and controls the people who live there. Fargo teams up with the Flathead tribe, whom Wolfrik wants to destroy. An exciting story with alot of action and a colorful opponent for Fargo. I have read two other Trailsman books and so far Flathead Fury is my favorite. Well done!
