Excellent One Dimensional Book

William Flannery a relative unknown at duplicate bridge invited a convention which he called the Flannery Convention. This is a useful bid especially if you play the Forcing No Trump Convention although I like it even when playing standard no trump responses. If you want to learn the bid exactly as Flannery wanted it to be played this is the book to buy. A few experts have added some inovations which are optional and they are not covered in this book. If you have never heard of duplicate bridge this book will be of no value to you. Even if you will never use this convention but you do play duplictae bridge this book does tell you how to defend against it. An interesting twist where Flannery first tells you how to use and then tells you how to defend against his bid.

My Grandfather Wrote This Book

I was so incredibly surprised to find it here... I am only sixteen, and so did not know much about my grandfather's bridge playing career. However, I'm glad to see that his book is still available. That's all I have to say.
