I am amazed that this was ever published.

An inexperienced sailor (the author) buys the cheapest sailboat he can find and uses handy-dad skills and mostly salvaged materials to "restore" it. He bases this book on that single experience. I have been sailing small boats for years and thought there might be some useful information in the book. I was mistaken. Any other book on the subject is more insightful and has more useful information. Buy Don Casey's books instead.
