Captivating love story

Finding His Family is part of the Love Inspired Romance collection. Not having read any previous books by Christina Miller, I did not know quite what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. It is a captivating love story, one that draws the reader in right from the start and keeps the attention right through to the last page. Miller has done a fantastic job creating vibrant characters with poignant histories. They are realistic--all their flaws, foibles, and faults are there along with their strengths and humanity. And they are either likable, relatable, or despicable. On one end of the spectrum readers will fall in love with three-year-old Georgia, and on the other end, will pretty much despise the Judge! The plot moves quickly and has a few twists to keep interest high. Dialogue between the characters flows seamlessly without sounding forced. I found the spotlight on the issues of Parkinson's and the benefits of boxing in helping alleviate some symptoms of the disease to be very interesting. Watching the gentle romance develop between Abe and Rosemary as they navigated the hurdles that had kept them apart for several years was enjoyable. Miller's newest book is a beautiful, captivating tale of love and forgiveness, hope and faith. Readers who enjoy inspirational romance will not want to miss Finding His Family.
