This book gives my account, as one of the 50 million Americans who have been affected by GERD, the acid reflux disease. I explain how the prevalence of acid reflux in my life for more than twenty years, led to the more serious form, GERD. I tell how I used a dramatic new approach proposed by a microbiologist (Norm Robillard, Ph.D.), to stop my acid reflux. I, like Dr. Robillard, speak from first hand knowledge about the effectiveness of this new approach, which is completely different from conventional medical treatments that I have received for more than twenty years. In writing this book, I have three goals: 1. To encourage those who suffer with reflux to get some treatment. I encourage resolution of any ailment as apposed to allowing symptoms to go untreated for any length of time regardless to what is popular of convenient.
