Solid practical advice with plot holes

Amidst constant invalidation and just flat poor care from the majority of the medical community, I was super excited to find a book written by a doctor with fibro. She offers practical advice, backed by evidence, with lots of good sources to dig into further. My only annoyance with the book is her blindspot/bias regarding the trauma and mental health causes of the chronically triggered fight or flight response behind fibro symptoms, but looking past that it has been a good resource and I would recommend it, with the caution that it should be only a piece of ones exploration into the cause of this illness. I highly recommend The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk as supplemental reading for the deeper cause of much that we suffer.
