In Nigeria, the gap between the richest and the poorest is widening, youth unemployment remains high, and access to social services remains elusive for many. Today, Nigerians' are looking for ways to spur economic growth in their local communities, hence the Ane Osiobe International Foundation promoting education in the continent. The foundation's contributions to this effort include but are not limited to supplying children with back to school materials, books, and uniforms; paying for standards exams; writing academic papers, technical reports, and books; and supplying residential schools with food by creating a farm.
