Feasibility of using sustainable materials in a small business

In today's globalised world, micro and small businesses, which currently represent 98% of the 4.5 million companies in Brazil, need to adapt to modern production standards. In other words, taking into account the environmental variable, which is now a fundamental element, this adjustment is necessary not only to improve the company's image, but also to take advantage of business opportunities that arise. Therefore, this study proposes to analyse a small business located in the metropolitan region of Curitiba (PR), which already uses some environmentally friendly materials, assessing whether their use is viable when compared to the use of other materials, whether the cost is compensatory, and whether it brings benefits to the environment.
