This is the seventh in a 7-book series by the author on the subject of Fallacies and Misconceptions in Popular Lore. The sixth book, titled Faux Past (for False History), focused on 35 historical events that, although familiar to most people and accepted as true worldwide, are considered unfounded or of doubtful authenticity. The present volume is titled Faux Past 2, and adds another 35 to the author's list of "World-famous Events That Most Likely Never Happened." Like Faux Past 1, it discusses the reasons why many historians refuse to see these events other than as myth or apocrypha. The text is enhanced by artwork and a list of suggested readings.
