Another terrifying thriller

Again, this is the second book that I picked up that said on the cover that it was the most terrifying thriller since 'Silence of the Lambs', the first being 'Messiah' by Boris Starling which totally lived up to that statement. Well, so does 'Fatal Instinct'! This is one of a series about FBI profiler Jessica Coran who recently captured the serial killer Matisak, who is very much like Hannibal the Cannibal. In this book, Jessica is after 'The Claw' running rampant in NYC, a sort of modern day Jack the Ripper. As in "Silence", Matisak is not one to be content on the sidelines, and finds ways to insinute his 'help' to Jessica. As the book reaches its shocking conclusion, you will be looking for the next book in the series!**Pandora

It is an amazing thriller that will capture your imagination

Fatal Instinct is a suspenseful thriller that takes you in the mind and world of a serial killer who cannibalizes his victims. Robert W. Walker uses such vivid words that let you imagine what the killer is doing and thinking during his time of the killings. He keeps you in suspense for the next kill because you never know who he is going to strike next. The images he produces with his words gives you chills up your spine and makes you think twice about you colleagues.

Reading for fun

This was the first of Walkers books that i had read and as soon as i started i couldent put it down. It was like a trap with no way to escape. It was thrilling and intense with explicit details on surroundings and methods of The Claw. If you are a first timer to Robert W. Walker than I suggest you read this one first.

My 1st in Instinct Series won't be my last

I was surprised and thrilled to meet a character that I liked as much or more than Kay Scarpetta. Mr Walker has made a fan out of me and I can't wait to start all the other instinct series books.
