If you're reading this, this is your sign to give this book a go and read it. I had the great fortune to be recommended and subsequently gifted this book by a friend, setting me on my course to pay that forward (I have since gifted this about 6 times to different adults). If you care about belonging, friendship, perseverance, and identity, you will love this book. Unigwe's writing style is captivating, her plot is intriguing start to finish, and her characters have stayed with me for years. Do yourself a favor and read this book.
