The best book of all his great novels. His imagination and wit make him a treasure and his works should be at the top of everyone's list.

None better

Tom McHale was the best American novelist of his generation. Why he is forgotten when others of his time are lionized is a mystery. No American novelist, except perhaps Vonnegut, is as witty, charming and brilliant. This book is his masterpiece, but they're all worth your while. He was a master. No wonder he's out of print.
