Great way to read the Bible with your Preschoolers!

My 3 year old, 5 year old and I have been having a great time using this book at bedtime for our 'Bible time'. This is the first book we have used regularly for nighttime devotions, and I am so glad we started doing it. One of the things I like about it is that I can just pick it up and use it right away. I don't have to plan anything, although if I wanted to do that, it would only enhance our experience. The Bible stories are easy enough for my preschoolers to understand, have great pictures, and only take a few minutes to read. Most of the stories are interactive, which keeps the kids interested. My 5 year old wishes the stories were longer, but he could just be trying to stall bedtime! After each story is a two page spread of ways to apply the Bible story. There is always a simple Bible verse which the boys and I go over. If you did some advance planning, some of the other activities suggested would be fun to do, including art projects and games. I could be doing a lot MORE with this book, but at this point I'm just happy to be doing something. My older son has heard a lot of these stories before, but they are still fun to read from a slightly different perspective.
