So enjoyable. Humor, steady pacing and well written

Omg I adore this. A book with humor! About time! I love it. Hubby did too! Kept catching him laughing when he was near and I had the audiobook playing. He even snorted once. Was a wonderful change of pace. Even though there were moments of seriousness, our FMC would call out the ridiculousness or comment in some smart ass way as, well… I would do if in similar situations. Especially when your best friend is a sentient cell phone that wants accessory’s to give her just the right appearing rear end. I now feel cheated that my phone only has the usual ways to talk to my phone. Even when we have a man yearning for our FMC at once point she has to comment on the ways her life is nuts. I loved it. I need to find more by this author. Also… this voice artists… because they are more than just a narrator, is chefs kiss. You could tell she was along for the ride with us. Makes you care about the character more. I think I would have liked the book just reading it, but I love it having this person read it. Well done! One last note… one of the few times I didn’t mind the spicy scenes. Most write them so unrealistically they just get weird and just go on and on… I just get bored or grossed out or both. This felt more real. Thank you for doing it were it didn’t give me the icks or just felt with the need to skip ahead in the book. Arc audiobook
