What is faith? It is, first of all, a heart issue clothed in hope but it must be founded on the rock of the promissory note of truth. Truth trumps lies. Fear presents itself as an emotional truth clothed in a lie. It takes time, study, and practice to be able to stand fearlessly before the specter of a fearful situation. All those in every walk of life who have attained greatness had to have some realm of faith working within them. Whether they chose to place their faith in themselves or in God they had to have faith and endurance to stand the test and receive the reward of their efforts.
