a look at the New Testament use of "faith"

This is a look at the New Testament use of faith (or in Greek πίστη písti) as compared to its modern use, often interchangeably with belief or religion. The NT use of faith is a firm conviction founded in eyewitness, historical accounts, and facts. Rev. Dr. Schmidt talks about the historical context of the original Greek and how it has been misused through time. Each chapter includes questions for discussion (making it a great study) and it's short enough I read it in one sitting, but will go back for a deeper dive.
