Great New Testament Devotional...

Faith Factor NT really got me in the Word and helped me to really understand the big picture. Before each chapter the author gives "Faith facts" that gives a background on the author and what to look for in the particular book of the Bible. Each devotional starts out with Foundation, where the reader stops to pray and invite God into your study. Next is a Focus point... For example, on Mark 4, the focus point is "Have you ever had one of those days when nothing goes right for you and it seems nobody cares? Where is God when you really need Him, anyway?" The Footwork gets you into the Bible to answer a thought-provoking question. And finally the Fruit is applying what you learned to your life. I get so overwhelmed when I try to read the Bible without a devotional or using a Bible Study. I am 30 years old and re-dedicated my life to Jesus at age 21. I have been doing Bible study's with Women's ministry at my church for 3 1/2 years. I have done three Beth Moore studies and a Nancy Leigh DeMoss study. This book has changed my life because it has helped me read the New Testament with a complete understanding of the author and the big picture. I didn't realize until I was half-way through the book that this was marketed for kids/juvenile/devotions. Please don't let that deter you from buying this book if you are an adult. This book is a great guide for helping you read through the Bible without getting overwhelmed. I had the pleasure of meeting Jackie Perseghetti at a Weekend to Remember Conference (which I highly recommend also). She is so lovely and wonderful.
