Better than I Imagined

I'm very impressed with this book. It is well written and thoughtful. It encourages women to tap into the power they have inside and to let their stars shine bright. Not only is it a great self esteem boost but it's funny too!

Awesome

Kimora does a great job of explaining her point of view. Its an easy read and easy to relate to. I really enjoy her tips at the end of each chapter. I think she is Fab and so is her book! I will continue to support all that Kimora puts out!!

Wonderful

This was a wonderfullly written book. It truly teaches women to put themselves first, but still being true to your family.

Very Inspiring

I absolutely loved the book! I am a single mother and have so many ambitions and this really gave that "kick in the butt" that I needed! This book is very "girly" oriented and encourages women to be strong, confident, smart, and not to take mess off of anyone ... especially men! She does devote a couple of entire sections to the contents of her closet, which I didn't find entertaining, but the pros completely outway the cons. If you're a strong woman who needs to be reminded you're wonderful and necessary to your family, kids, and this world in general ... GET THE BOOK!!!! It also has quotes by famous people at the end of each chapter which are really neat. I had to jot them down.

Change your life with this book

I read a few pages from this book in a bookstore feeling a little vulnerable after a bad week. I was about to go to a party I didn't really want to go to because a guy that I had stronge feelings for was going to be there. Well, i have to mention that this guy had snubbed me at another recent party. I also have to mention that the snub was probably in response to something immature that I had done. The whole situation had been on my mind for maybe a month, it was pathetic. Long story short, I read a couple of paragraphs about how it was important to have a big smile when you work the room, which is obvious but hard for me because I hate my smile. But after reading all this, I went to this party, pulled my shoulders back, summoned the kind diva in me, and worked the room with a wide grin.... fully aware that the ball in this boy/girl situation was in my court. Greeted everyone with a kiss and a hug. I went up to that guy and greeted him as if nothing bad between us had ever happened, in fact I gave him the warmest, heartfelt greeting ever. By the end of the night, I realized the situation probably hadn't been that bad and if it had been, I had just rectified everything. But I tell you, I'm the type of unmotivated person, when it comes to relationships, that would have just let the whole thing sit in mind and fester. I know this sounds weird, but this book just switched on some light in my head. Its a clever read, something to own and pass around.
