Subiaga's Rollercoaster Ride

I've read this book more than once and each time I find myself absorbing more exciting information and graphic realisms. As an Art Director and Graphic Artist I can relate to the artistry invovled. Subiaga has a twisted, deranged, unsettling sick sense of imagination along with an intelligent and convincing storyline. He must have been locked in a closet most of his childhood and let out only to read and eat! He portrays an eerie and realistic atmoshpere for you to escape to when reading this awsome adventure. When you finish the book you don't know whether to love, hate, help or mutilate Kabal. He is even more deranged than Subiaga and yet you can't forget him. I've read some of the other reviews and I have to agree that there is a sense of Terminator mixed with Sci-Fi enigma. Bravo Bobby to a job well acheived and hopefully we will continue to have more adventures for us to experience and live in the future!

Great but depends on your tastes

I loved this book! But whether you'll love it depends on your tastes. Most other people I know loved it, but those that didn't hated it--it sure brings out strong passions! Let's see. First, if you want your fiction to be wish-fulfillment fantasy then stay away. And even if you like it serious, but just want authors that bring up positions you agree with, then this isn't for you--Subiaga makes people of just about every stripe think in uncomfortable new ways. And finally, if you get offended when there's stuff you think you "don't get," then don't buy this book. [But don't watch The Simpsons or read Umberto Eco or John Updike either! :)] If you don't have any of these hang-ups though and especially if you love ACTION you can't afford to miss thius one!

Worth Reading

Subiaga takes the reader on a good ride through some exciting action involving a mysterious vampire character. Lots of good ideas here.
