Exploring Tree Habitats

This book is a good expository book for young children. It has educational illustrations which focuses on various types of trees and their habitats. I used this book with my first grade class to teach about different types of animals that live in trees. My class found both the pictures and information useful when writing in their science journals. I plan on keeping this book in my classroom library since many of my students enjoy reading this book during silent reading.
