Great Read!

This book was so great to read! It's nice to get a look at the man behind the legend, and how he got there!

Much more than a football book

Much more than a book about football, this work tells us about the man behind the #10. I think it is fascinating look at the person who is a jock yes, but a certainly not a dumb jock. It tells us wonderful anecdotes about Fran's career on and off the field.

great life book

Loved reading this book, I was a fan of Fran Tarkington during his football career, but also enjoyed the life after football business stories. Books like this give you the inspiration to live your dream, even when others try to tell you you can't do it. A lot of similarities between business and sports, and as with other highly successful people you learn from them to never quit. The Bud Grant stories and quotes are great.

My Hero - Fran Tarkenton

What an unbelievable story; finally. I have been a fan of Fran Tarkenton since that game against the Dallas Cowboys in 1975; when I was 9 years old. After reading this book I now know what it took to accomplish all the things that he did. You will not be able to put this book down. This book is great for all people. I just ordered another one for my 9 Year old son. Fran is not only a Hall Of Famer in College and the NFL, but also in our household. I wish I had the opportunity to read this when I was a young boy growing up. Fran is truely an inspiration for all, both on and off the field. He never gave up and always rose to the challenges he had. This is a must read for all.

Great Book

Every Day is Game Day tells an excellent story about someone who was a sports star, has a career now as a businessman and most importantly, someone with a wonderful philosophy of life. Lots of good stories about Bud Grant and other players and coaches.
