Un cuore da lasciar spezzare, per poi raccoglierne le schegge in fondo ai pozzi e farne un mosaico. Un altro che un campo minato, da disinnescare con pazienza. Giordano Bruno che brucia ancora nei cori della propaganda. Gli idrovolanti che all'alba New York aspettava, e che oggi prendono polvere in due musei. Una ninna nanna per chi non riesce a dormire, un perdono ripetuto otto volte come una litania.

E in fondo la promessa che d il titolo al libro: che quello che verr sar migliore ancora.
