Journalists frequently have to resolve ethical dilemmas, often in the rush to deadline, and their choices can have enduring effects on individuals and institutions. This is a report from the Australian Journalists Association, drawing up a recommended code of ethics for its members. The committee drew on submissions and on local and international sources to develop a new recommended code with better enforcement and more open-ness.
