After the devastation of Earth in the year 2149, the surviving humans escaped aboard the IGC Archimedes to the planet Baevra, halfway across the galaxy. Upon their arrival they met the mysterious time traveler, Sarah Tel. With Sarah's help they hope to avert the disasters that are fated to befall Baevra and claim the planet for their own. The first of many things they must change is the life of one young pseudo-human, the Krit, Sedu Baria. Ever since Sedu had first played a violin, he'd dreamt of becoming a travelling musician, but when he first decided he would one day set out to explore the world, he never could have imagined it would be this dangerous. When an age-old enemy suddenly returns, Sedu is unceremoniously thrust into his role as his nation's defender. As enemies begin to close in on all sides, only with the help of both his friends and the time-travelling humans does he have any hope to succeed.
