Estel is the Frog of Grammarcy and the greatest adventurer the land has ever known. Together with his friend the Noun Wizard, Estel comes to the rescue of Grammarcy's people in adventures involving a prideful Pronoun, an unhappy group of Proper Nouns, a very naughty Verb Dragon, and a dastardly band Goblins who steal Garden Gnomes. With Estel at their side kids will learn how our language works as well as valuable life lessons about love, loyalty, and friendship. Author Bio: Crystal Etzel is a professor of Communication at Onondaga Community College where she teaches Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication and Etiquette. She holds an M.Div as well as a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Public Address. An avid reader, Crystal hopes these stories will encourage kids to join the fun and become lifelong readers themselves. Oh, and Estel is modeled on an actual stuffed toy frog Crystal gave her sister Candace while they were both still in college.
