Esbe's Halo

A somewhat klutzy Father Time leaves his scythe lying around in the Place of Possibility, causing a cherub to fall to earth. The cherub is rescued by ten years old, Angelica and given the name, Esbe. Due to his unusual growth spurts and pending visibility, Esbe moves to a hide-out in the woods, encounters an injured possum and a woods fairy named, Rachela. His angel parents search for him and "the place where the hole in the sky was born." They meet an Indian shaman; help a kind alien and struggle with a feisty healer. Affection and loyalty grow between the characters. There are lessons in honesty, caring for nature, forgiveness, sharing friends and believing in guidance. The story will touch the heart of anyone who likes spunky dialogue and remembers the magic of childhood.
