"A new heaven and a new earth."
Why should there be a new heaven? I understand that earth will be devastated in the end times and will be levelled to the ground when everything comes to nothing.
Could the concept of the "new heaven" be related to the second death?
Do people who die immediately go to heaven or hell after their first death and then they would have to die again?
I shouldn't ask why.
