Well written and helpful

As an "interested", I was looking for some books to get more serious and realistic information about the BD/SM culture and what the various practices really were (not what I imagined them to be). This book I found to be very well written by a woman who obviously know what she's talking about. She explains things in clear, simple, real and easy to understand language, and shares her own experiences. Through this book I was able to understand much more about this life-style, and about my own fascination with it. It helped to relativate some of my own misperceptions and prejudices and to understand more what was going on within myself. I recommend this book highly to those interested in learning more about this lifestyle. Very helpful!!!

Excellent resource

For women exploring their sexuality and desires that some may consider "differnt" Erotic Surrender will answer your questions and help you and your partner on your journey. I thank Claudia Varrin for writting this and her other books as well. I have learned so much about who I am.

Her writing style is open, non-threatening, and personable, allowing you as the reader to explore and discover all at your own pace and desire. Aside from all the informative and useful information, she also includes a nice splattering of her own experiences and her fictional short stories just to spark your interest, or help in bringing your fantasies to life...incase you don't have enough ideas of your own! ;) The book is well-written, hardcover with a glossy dust jacket, quality binding and paper. Experienced submissives will likely not discover new material in this book, although it could still be an enjoyable read for you. Sensual Submission for Women by a Woman

After having read, and loved, Claudia's first book, "The Art of Sensual Female Dominance," I couldn't wait to read "Erotic Surrender." And it was well worth the wait. Claudia is a woman who writes specifically for women and she speaks to them from the depths of her s/m heart. This wonderful book is not for men, or for those who are already at ease with their submissive sides; rather it is clearly written for the vanilla woman who is seeking a better understanding her submissive desires. "Erotic Surrender" fully succeeds in that goal. Claudia's writings left no doubt in my mind that she lived these experiences and loved them. I found her willingness to share the most intimate details of her submissive relationship with her British master to be truly remarkable; she exposed her soul to us in a way many others would not have the courage or insight to do. I especially loved the story entitled "Bride of the God", in "Masochism," chapter nine. This book receives my highest recommendation.

A sumptuous read

I found this to be a meticulous exploration of chivalrous female submission right down to what shoes to wear and what words to say. It includes a very enlightening epilogue about how BDSM can lead to greater spiritual awareness. I felt it all made very enjoyable reading.
