A Superb Book

This excellent book looks at the essence of environmental change on a global scale and the institutional responses required to manage it. While governance continues to be accutely territorial and splintered, the extent of environmental problems is increasingly transboundary. This book, while very interdisciplinary, is firmly grounded in political theory and applied policy analysis. Dr. Hempel successfully and forcefully demonstrates how changes such as the adoption of green technologies, human population stabilization, and the adoption of sustainable lifestyles are both necessary and achievable. It is a powerfully pragmatic examination of the global problems facing all human beings, and how to overcome them.
