Super Good Book!

I have this book for intermediate students and also have the one with red cover for beginners. Initially bought this and other books to review grammar for Toefl and this was the only one I ended up using it. My friend is using the red book and that is very good for somebody who starts learning English. I highly recommend this book for learning or reviewing English grammar. It's well organized easy to follow and understand. It covers all I was interested in to review and learn. Thank you for the book.

perfect book for learning grammar

I use this book to improve my english grammar and teach my sister. It is very valuable for intermediate up to advanced student to study this book. Inside this book, it is different from any other grammar books. Why? there are some many units that they write in their experiences to teach english for example, "even" chapter is a chapter that many grmmar book don't publish and about the "in on at" which is very special for me to see the new use of them(at age of...). The additional exercise is most practical for student from pre-intermediate to advanced. i am fluent in using english grammar. When i see this book and consult this book, it actually work best in the other books. so now there are many versions translated. However, it has a little point to improve this book is the coverage of the context. ex, preposition is less explanation, adjective and adverb are also less. i give it 97% of the best grammar book in the world

I realy like to read this textbook.It will help me to know more new grammer from the English language.I would want to tell much thanks to the authors,for this nice textbook.I am so proud of you,thanks for everything which you write inside this book and to share to other people.I always want to study more new vocabulary and grammar too from the English,because I really liked to learn more.And it is good practise to know more new things from the English languadge too.I would want also to buy this book for me,because i need to use now here in the US.God bless all of you!

It's highly didactic and makes you learn naturally!

This is one of the best grammar books I've ever found! Very didadict and with an easy to use step by step format (138 units) it's a very good source to the self-student (every unit has a lot of exercises and the book provide you with an answers guide at its end)

One of the best English grammar books for teaching

I have seen many language books, but this one is the best. It's a British publication, but that is not a problem for me, being an American. Extremely well structured with great vocabulary and expressions -- all students seem to like and understand the examples and exercises. Every ESL teacher should have this book for grammar. It covers just about everything and handles the quirks of English thoroughly.
