From master cartoonist Bill Amend comes his newest collection of FoxTrot favorites. From hilarious sibling rivalry to marital disagreements over spending habits, FoxTrot has amassed a religious... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I have been a faithful FoxTrot reader for years. Roger, Andy and their kids Peter, Paige and Jason are always good for a reality check with a large dose of laughter. I've got two girls and let me tell you, I see a lot of my kids in Paige with, I believe, even a healthy dose of Jason thrown in. And they have Peter's bottomless stomach. Of course, they're faithful FoxTrot readers too. I used to read the strip to them, explain what was going on, but now they get it just fine and we three all laugh together. Then my girls try and explain the strip to their dad, who pretends he doesn't get it. The FoxTrot folks are a great family, one we sort of got used to checking up on every day, so we took the news that Mr. Amend was going to cease daily distribution of his wonderfully funny people and turn his strip to Sunday only, with a bit of sadness. Still, we have these terrific FoxTrot books to keep us going with our FoxTrot fix. Mr. Amend is to be commended for his great gift to our culture and his great gift to so many lives. I truly believe a laugh a day, helps keep the blues away and the FoxTrot gang are always good for a laugh. Heck there are a lot of laughs in the FoxTrot books. I know, I have them all and I am, along with my girls and my hubby dear, eagerly awaiting the next one. Oh yes, I forgot to mention, we don't have an iguana, but my girls do have a pet gecko and, you guessed it, his name is Quincy.
Encyclopedias Brown And White. Foxtrot, All Great!

I've been a Foxtrot reader for a long time and personally I think there is something suspiciously wrong with people who don't find Bill Amend's characters funny as all get out. If you want a good laugh, check out Bill in your local newspaper, or better yet, get one of the Foxtrot books. They are all great, really, they are. Like many of Mr. Amend's fans I'm a bit disappointed he's switching his strip to Sunday-only, but fortunately I can still read him daily in the Foxtrot books. Get them one and all and you can keep right on a laughing.
"If you're in a jam, call JAM." An Excellent Collection

Whenever I am down or am just having the worst day in the world, I usually need to read or watch something funny. A lot of times I read comics like Calvin and Hobbes and FoxTrot. FoxTrot is always funny and is able to get more than a laugh or two out of me. Here is another excellent FoxTrot collection by the great Bill Amend; "Encyclopedias Brown and White."There's more chaos and insanity going on in the Fox household than ever before. Jason is aggravating his sister, Paige, Roger is driving his wife up the wall, and Peter is eating just about anything he can get his hands on. They are still just as outrageous as ever and can still surprise us even when we think they can't do any better. Some of the stuff you will find in this collection:*Peter's cell phone*Detectives Jason and Marcus tries to solve a crime*Roger and his homemade wine*Paige's Robo-Pup*Varsity e-football (wha?)*Nosecracker dreams, and much more!I found this collection of FoxTrot comics to be extremely funny and entertaining. Amend never ceases to be funny and is always looking for something new and clever to write. These collections are also very easy to read over and over again, without it losing any of it's humor. Jason driving his sister insane is always fun to see!So if you love FoxTrot, then "Encyclopedias Brown and White" is the one for you. Filled with witty humor, outrageous situations, and memorable lines, this is a great read for anyone who's looking for a little humor and entertainment.
Best comic strip in current publication

Amend has yet to disappoint. FoxTrot is consistently the best comic strip in current publication, and this collection is an enjoyable addition to the body of work.Amend's characters are genuinely likable, not at all preachy, and easily identified with. The fact that Amend and I are roughly the same age may have something to do with it, but I find my interests largely coincide with many of the characters' interests, making the strip a daily joy. I have one unread collection, His Code Name Was The Fox, on my shelf, saved for a time when I need some cheering.Do yourself a favor and treat your mind to an enjoyable visit to the FoxTrot universe.

The second surprise I found when I got this book was is ize. I was expecting the, now, standard size for cartoons books and found this. I loved the size. The first surprise was the book story line. Hilarious!!! FUN FROM BEGIN TO THE LAST STRIP!!!
