Ella never leaves home without her book of basic observations on how to survive life. Other girls come to Ella for advice, but when Ella and her best friend Toby start fighting, Ella's Good Sense Guide fails her for the first time. Original.
When I picked up this book I wasnt sure if I would enjoy it. I dont read many books set in England so this story was new to me. I loved this book!! Everything about it is fun and well written. I could relate well to Ella and I found myself wishing that I could be more like her. I will be looking for more books by this author.

I give this book a five star rating because this was the best book I've ever read. When I can't sleep at night I read a book but, instead of going to sleep I stayed up 'til 6:30a.m. reading this book. The next day I read it a second time. This book really is a reminder for us kids that there will be troublesome times in our life and if we have good friends by our side we can make it through any sticky situation. And who knows your best friend might become more than just a best friend. All I can say is that I can't wait to get the next book.
I highly recommend

I finished this book in less than a day. It was such a cute story! I could really relate to Ella. I liked how she was a smart "everygirl." I would love to read more from this author!
Suspenseful

I am usually into fantasy books(not that I don't like or even love non-fantasy books)so I like books with exciting adventures. I have been known to put down books that are good but are to slow because a different more exciting book comes along. This book is anything but slow. I picked it up at ten o'clock at night planing on reading a little bit just to help me get to sleep but I couldn't put it down. I read it all in one night even though I was aware how tired I would be the next day. I liked how the conflicts weren't resolved until the last pages on the book. It was very suspenseful and as I said impossible to put down. In the book Ella is easy to relate to, admire, and like. Her experiences help her to find herself, learn about her friends, help them, and find true love. She has an off-beat voice so and sees things differently then I would. I would like to be one of her mates.

I enjoyed reading this book, I could definitly relate to the store and the book was hilarious, I couldn't put it down! This is the best book I have ever read and I would recomend this book to anyone, except children under the age of about 13 because they really wouldn't understand a thing going on in the book. I hope this review helped!
