Fun romp through Regency Brighton

This is one of my favourite regencies. It has all the right ingredients - long-lost heiress, gentleman engaged to the wrong lady, and a couple who have been at odds since their youthful romance went awry. Delilah Mannering is the long lost heiress, found by her new guardian, the Duke of Knowles. Her arrival in his househould sets off a chain of events involving the Duke's other wards, Neil and Sybil, Neil's haughty fiancee Miss Choice-Pickerell, and one of Sybil's suitors. Throw in a loyal footman, a hard-to-control dog, a mysterious lady, and a gypsy intent on causing trouble, and the book is off. Set in Brighton, there is lots of witty banter, misunderstandings and adventure.
