Intoxicating

This is my favourite all time erotic fiction. A young innocent is seduced by her cynical captor, and in turn unknowingly seduces him.

The triumph of love (along with a LOT of HOT sex!!!)

This is one of my favorite of the Black Lace series. I prefer to think of Elena as gentle and loving and Aimery as a man who has never been exposed to the power of love. Elena's innocence is his undoing, totally seducing him, while the overblown charms of the jaded Isabele pale in comparison. This is a wonderful interpretation of the classic "innocent young virgin meets worldly older man" theme. I appreciate that there is a very well-crafted story here, layered with lots of GREAT sex in just about any combination you could imagine. As far as I'm concerned, this is an essential part of any collection.

A good medieval period story...

with alot of sex, sex, sex through out the book.(m/f,f/f,m/m, multiple partners) After reading the reviews below, I was reluctant to purchase this book. I am really not into timid heroines who bow down to the alpha male, but in this particular story, it was not really hard to understand why Elena acted as she did. The story starts out in the year 1070 when a norman soldier (Aimery) abducts a saxon maiden (Elena) from a convent and takes her to his castle to be a slave for himself and his mistress Isobel. Elena has led a very sheltered life and as she states in the book (has always followed what she was told to do whether from the nuns or as a slave for Aimery.) The hero does come off as a doltish brute who thinks only of his pleasure but soon mellows out when he starts to think of Elena as more than just a slave. Isobel soon becomes jealous of Aimery's obsession with Elena and sets out to get rid of her rival with sex, lies and trickery. I really did not think this was a bad read and the sex more than made up for the heroines timidness.

huge medieval fan

I'm a huge medieval fan, I just can't get enough information on the time period. So it is a treat to have an erotic book set in that time period. The details were not so horribly off, and the sex was hot. I must agree the main charachter was weak, the fiesty redhead at the begening was more interesting by far. This book adds some nice spice to my mediveal mindset though, and I just love the photograph on the cover. Is it possible to purchase these to frame???
