This manga is really just a sex comedy without the actual sex. It has all of the uncomfortable moments, ripped shirts, accidental groping etc... It is a little vague in the plot department, but it really had me laughing a few times. Great if you like campy fun and sexual awkwardness.
Eiken takes harem to the extreme...and thats a good thing

Eiken is the brainchild of mangaka Seiji Matsuyama. It follows in the great tradition of other harem manga titles in that it's quite a fanservice-heavy, ecchi-laden shonen series that appeals to males young and old. Seiji-san doesn't add anything to the harem genre, but instead takes it to such a extreme and ridiculous level that it's difficult not to smile and let loose a laugh whle reading the book. Eiken is set in the fictional school of Zanshono Academy where it's 50,000+ students and faculty also happens to include the mysterious Eiken Club. It is this club where the book's reluctant male (only one it seems) lead happens to get "volunteered" to join. Densuke is his name and his first day at Zanshono Academy doesn't just get him inducted into the Eiken Club, but even earlier in the day his clumsiness causes him to literally run into and fall on top of another first-year student by the name of Chiharu. Densuke falls in love at first sight (and grope) as Chiharu also happens to be one of the prettiest and most wanted girl in school. It causes Densuke more than his share of nosebleeds that Chiharu also happens to be quite busty and that his first introduction to Chiharu was to fall on top of her with both his hands cushioned by her ample and busty chest. Densuke ends up being the only male in the Eiken Club which includes Chiharu as another new member, but also includes its aggressive leader in Kirika (who happens to have an even bigger chest), the shy and clumsy Komoe (one of the youngest members but also happens to have the largest bust size in the club), the tiny Kyoko whose mad scientist schemes seem to have Densuke as her favorite guinea pig and the two unnamed Teacher and Teddy with the former constantly finding herself in extremely compromising positions with Densuke to Chiharu's shock and Densuke's chagrin and embarrasment. The first volume of Eiken pretty much introduces all the members of the club throughout its lenght. But even after reading just one volume I could see that Seiji-san cares more about putting Densuke in as many escapades where he's finding himself alone with and/or bumping into one or more of the Eiken Club girls. While there is the budding attraction between Densuke and Chiharu to add a semblance of story to the series. In the end Eiken will appeal to fans of harem manga titles who can appreciate the comedy and utter ridiculousness of the situations the characters are put through. Logic and trying to make sense of the plot is not a high point or even the goal of the series. Eiken proudly wears its fanservice and ecchi themes on its sleeve and readers will either get on and enjoy the ride to its ridiculous end or not even get on at all.
Eiken is the breast--I mean, BEST manga i've ever read!

I'm a huge fan of Eiken. I read this entire manga book and I enjoyed it a lot. This series is all about comedy and REALLY REALLY GIGANTIC BOOBIES! It made me laugh too. So, if you're a fan of reading manga books and looking at sexy girly characters with big breasts, Eiken's the perfect choice for you to enjoy. Go for the series and DVD as well! Age 16+ due to breasts bigger than your head and more. ;) Seiji Matsuyama, we salute to you and Eiken!
A Great Manga, My Personal Favorite

This is the best manga for lovers of huge boobs! At least three of the girls in the Eiken Club have F-cups or larger, the art is very good, and it caters to a number of different interests. Don't expect any total nudity though. Media Blasters did a good job in this release, without censoring anything, unlike some other disgraceful companies. The translation is pretty good, but excludes all Japanese honorifics to simplify it more. If you're interested in the anime DVD as well, do yourself a favor and read this book first. It might answer a few questions you'd have about the anime. Volume 1 includes some character sketches and author notes at the end of the book. Suggested rating by Media Blasters: 16+.
