Excellent ecommerce handy book

The e-commerce best practices book has been very well written. It gives an insight to all the important elements of a successful e-commerce website. Without getting into too much details, this book is a very useful resource for anyone who who wants to touch all the concepts in a simple to understand language. It can act as a checklist to a successful e-commerce storefront application. I would highly recommend this book to all.

A true eCommerce Bible

This is the book to refer to if you are shifting your business from traditional marketing to internet retail marketing. Not only it provides dozens of real-life scenarios, it also demonstrates how the industry is evolving and what to expect for the near future in electronic sales and marketing.

Outstanding comprehensive introduction to the world of ecommerce

I came across this book while planning the launch of our retail site at [...] The book was an invaluable resource. It told me all the questions I should be asking, pointed me in the right direction of the answers, and gave me dozens of ideas to incorporate on our site that I never would have thought of without it. I especially liked that it made all the techno-jargon accessible and understandable so I could have more productive conversations with my web developer. I highly recommend this book.

Great & Easy with No Nonsense

This is a clearly written book without a lot of jargon that so often accompanies tech books. This serves as a great reference guide. I use it to grab just the info I need right now... ie quick tips for writing my weekly email to customers or speaking to a designer about improving design or customer interaction. This is up to date with the newest information and discussions of the tried and true techniques. I highly recommend it.

Great introduction to eCommerce practices

The book provides a good high-level introduction of the critical success factors to leveraging eCommerce methodologies. I would greatly recommend this book as consensus building tool at the executive level. Aspects like the glossary of eCommerce terminology and insightful best practices have enable me to better position eCommerce projects for success. The broad range of topics "a mile wide approach" is applicable to medium size and large scale projects. It is apparent after reading that the author has "been there, done that" and knows how to position an eCommerce project within the enterprise. This book was the perfect gift for one of my best clients. The book helped to provide parameters around what it means to engage in an eCommerce project.
