Another Solid Spicy Cowboy Romance from Jessica Peterson

Jessica Peterson gives me hope that real cowboys that are in touch with their feelings and treat their partners with dignity, respect, and love really exist. I also believe they may all be rather well endowed. Duke has always felt like the odd man out in his family. His 4 brothers all seem relatively content to work their family ranch, and settle down on said ranch. Duke has always wanted more; adventure, fun, something but he can’t quite put his finger one it. Wheeler has always felt like less than. How could she not when her older brother and father treat her like she’s “too much” to be loved? When Wheeler comes to visit Duke’s family ranch, when her best friend (who happens to be engaged to Duke’s older brother) and business partner starts spending half of her time there. The attraction between the cowboy filled with wanderlust and the girl who feels like less than is instant, but Wheeler keeps Duke at an arms length. When Wheeler takes Duke up on his offer to be her roadtrip partner on the day-long drive from Hartsville to Aspen, Colorado for a trade show for her growing boot company, Bellamy Brooks, things get steamy as the weather gets cold. A weekend of giving into passion leads Wheeler and Duke into a spot of bother. Can Duke woo this hardened girl and assure her he’s just what he wants?
