Well-meaning people always tell us to get our life together. And we have all bought into the lie that only those who are calm, cool and collected have a hope at life or standing out.

But life isn't one-dimensional.

It's not a straight course from where we are to where we want to go. Oftentimes, getting from here to there is a nerve-wracking journey through a maze, with more misses and wrong turns than we care to admit.

That's what makes the journey exciting, because life isn't the beginning or the end; but all the twists and turns in between.

This book is a collection of poems on different subjects from different periods of my life - the happy, sad, joyous, gloomy, bright and dark times - times not unlike yours, since we are both partakers in the human experience of life.
