Short but informative

I bought this book a while ago, but nevertheless I keep going back to it because it contains a decent amount of important information regarding spirituality, especially information regarding explanaions about general meanings of certain things we might encounter during dream. The author Samael Aun Weor seems to know alot about what he is talking about, and it seems as if it is not merely intellectual but rather from experience. This is not a science fiction story book but rather a serious book about the reasons why we dream, some hints on how to properly judge our dreams, also there is an integration of how all of this relates to our current situation, our current consciousness. If you are a true spiritual seeker, you might want to purchase this book to study, contemplate and meditate upon. All the best.

Eye-opening Read

Have you ever sat down for a few brief minutes and questioned the nature of your dreams? The phenomena of dreaming is one that modern science has never been able to figure out, and yet we all do it every night. Why is that? Where is our consciousness when we are dreaming? Of course we have all at one point or another experienced "lucid dreaming" where we knew we were in a dream and found ourselves able to manipulate it. But these experiences are few and far between. In "Dream Yoga," Samael Aun Weor gives an entirerly fresh perspective into the nature of dreams and practical exercises that anyone, anywhere, can utilize in order to expand their own consciousness into the dream world. Included in the book are exercises in order to improve dream memory, astral projection techniques, explanations about nightmares, meditation techniques, and a very nifty general guide to dream symbols. "Those candidtates who sincerely long for a mystical, direct experiences must unquestionably begin with the Dream Yoga discipline."

A book with techniques on how to awaken conscious in the astral world.

The techniques in the book are very practical. They help one to awaken consciousness in the astral or dream world. Also, the book introduces you to Kabbalah, as it is the language of the internal worlds. Without knowing Kabbalah one may misinterpret their dreams or not understand their meaning. Through dreams we may receive important information about our current circumstances, or information that may guide us, or warn us about something. Also through dreams we may learn about our own internal psychology. Awakening the consciousness is something that is also psychological. So Dream Yoga is related with the awakening of the consciousness, Kabbalah, and psychology. I recommend this book to any person who is interested in these topics.
