The Drama just kept coming!!!!!!!!!!!

There was definietly drama in this novel. I thought it was fantastic, I would definitely recommend this book to someone else. The ending was a little difficult for me to follow at first, because the author didn't really explain the situation with Destiny and Mekhai and as a reader of many urban fiction books I would have liked for her to include how Mekhai explained to Destiny what he had done to her mother. But overall I thought it was very believable. TIA HINES REALLY OUT DONE HERSELF, and I can't wait until the next one is released.

I don't often read urban fiction books but I gave this one a chance and I was feeling it! The plot was on point, there was major drama. It was an interesting little novel. Hines did her thing! She got me wanting to read more urban fiction.

When the going gets tough, it gets going. Just like everyone else I could not put the book down. You are immediately drawn in from the fight that goes and the murder. And that is just the beginning of DRAMA! The author gives some good twist with unexpected turns. This Definitely Was a Good Read And Happy That It Made #9 For ESSENCE MAGAZINE BEST-SELLER'S LIST. Tia Hines did the damn thang! Go on girl, hurry with that next one.

You Can't Put It Down

This novel is what you call a good read. I just purchased it last week and I'm already done. It took two days to read it. I couldn't put it down. I mean the name speaks for itself and the DRAMA never stops. I loved Chicago though. The writer made him seem so real. He was so street and professional at the same time trying to keep his family together after their mother was murdered. Then his sister Destiny wants to marry the man that murdered their mother. So many things happen in this book, it's hard to write a review and not give away the good stuff. But I recommend it. Tia Hines put together a tight story line and with the twist and turns she throws at you, she made it come together so their was no confusion involved. Trust me, I've read some books that weren't great but DRAMA! doesn't fit under that catergory. I guarantee you'll love it....I'm ready to see what she got up her sleeve next cause the sista is talented. GO DRAMA!

Drama....Chicago's Destiny....its all the same....

I read Chicago's Destiny and was really happy I did. The name of this book was changed and both titles do major justice for this book. Oh the DRAMA...and as I said before it really was Chicago's Destiny (hint hint)...you gotta read this book the ending will have you flipping out. I'm really big on supporting new authors (especially a hometown girl) and was very glad I came across Tia Hines, can't wait to see what's next. Keep up the excellent work, YOU DID YOUR THANG GIRL!
