Their mother watches over them from Apat, the spirit world, but not all spirits are caring and not all demons are monsters with wings and horns. Meeya must confront the demon within.
The city of Dragonfang grows from this adversity. The family and the people of Dragonfang are protected from other humans but walls offer no protection from within.
